Dear MIGUEL ALEXANDRE,
This is to inform you that one or more of Texas Instruments’ WEBENCH® power designs may have incorrect operating values. Due to a bug in the calculations either the recommended junction temperature limits were violated, or the MOSFET selection was in error, and your design could have been unstable. We have corrected these bugs and implemented more rigorous checks. The following design(s) were identified as possibly being affected by this bug:
- Código: Selecionar todos
Id Name Created Modified VinMin VinMax Vout Iout OptFactor
17 TPS54331DDAR 9.0V-12.0V to 5.0V @ 3.0A 09-16-2014 11:51:20 9.00 12.00 5.00 3.00 3
Please follow the steps below to identify your affected designs and update them in WEBENCH:
Recall your designs by going to the WEBENCH panel on the TI home page here. Once WEBENCH Designer loads, click “My Designs/Projects” in the top left corner.
Note the affected designs that use the IDs listed above. To open up a specific design or project, click “Open Design” located under the “Action” column.
You have two options to get a corrected design:
Update your current Design: You may click the “Update” button under the “Advanced Options” menu to recreate the design. This will update the operating values, for example the temperature & loop parameters and also select new components for your design. You can also create a new design with the same IC by using the Change Inputs panel in the upper left below the optimization dial.
Create a fresh new design: If you would like to see alternative solutions for your design requirement, please re-enter your design requirements in the WEBENCH launch panel at
http://webench.ti.com and consider one of the available solutions shown in the WEBENCH Visualizer.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any questions, feel free to submit feedback via
http://webench.ti.com/support.
Best regards,
The WEBENCH® development team
