SDCC will have a major 3.0 update this year. I am forwarding the information below.
For Z80 users like us, there may be a lot of changes in the compiling
configuration. For example, they have changed .o object file to .rel, to be
the same as other target like 8051. Hope the real improvement on Z80 is also
impressive too. After all, SDCC is the only Z80 compiler I know which is
still under active improvement.
